November was National Novel Writing Month in the USA- this is a ‘How-To’ guide for NaNoWrMo, taking students through the process of writing a long story/ novel. Included is the opening to a Sci-fi story which the students are asked to think about and expand on. There are several other titles for them to practise with later. There is also a word search, a menu for making pancakes with work out the ingredients and a template to design My Pancake Day Menu. Suitable definitely for KS1 (possibly lower KS2) and ESL classes who wish to find out a little more about western culture- and food!
